Research Administration

The IFAR Research Administration manages all pre and post award aspects of sponsored research.  This includes, but is not limited to the following areas:

  1. HSL’s protection of human subjects in research and the HSL Institutional Review Board (IRB)
  2. IFAR’s responsible conduct of research and administers IFAR’s financial conflict of interest in research program.
  3. Prepares  and is the authorized HSL entity to submit proposals to external sponsors
  4. Negotiate and accepts awards and research related agreements on behalf of IFAR
  5. Manage  post-award sponsored programs finance and administration
  6.  Promotes accountability and compliance with Federal, State, sponsor, and HSL rules and regulations.
  7. Research Computing
