The Palliative Care Research Center has a very strong track record of training investigators at all stages of their careers with an interest in palliative care and aging research. Dr. Mitchell is a recipient of a NIH NIA K24 Mid-Career Mentoring Award which recognizes her excellence and protects her time for mentoring. She has been a primary mentor for young investigators on many career development awards including NIH-K level grants, National Palliative Care Career Development and Pilot Grants, the Harvard Catalyst KL2 program and our institutional T32 program.
The Palliative Care Research Center faculty provides summer research experiences for medical and predoctoral students through the MSTAR and institutional T32 programs, respectively. The Center also welcomes post-doctoral students with cross-cutting interests. For more information about training opportunities contact: Susan L. Mitchell M.D., M.P.H. at firstname.lastname@example.org.
