The Hebrew SeniorLife Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews all research protocols involving human subjects that will be conducted at Hebrew SeniorLife (or at the affiliated housing sites). The IRB provides oversight and assurance of the protection of the rights and welfare of human subjects in research studies. The Hebrew SeniorLife IRB meets once a month to review proposed as well as ongoing research protocols for assurances of the protection of human subjects.

The Hebrew SeniorLife IRB conforms to the federal regulations set forth in 45 CFR part 46 and 21 CFR parts 50 and 56 for the protection of human subjects.

How to use the forms:  

  1. Select the appropriate form(s)
  2. Complete form(s) online and print (no hand-written forms will be accepted)
  3. Sign (by hand or e-signature)
  4. Send via email to IRB@hrca.harvard.edu or mail to:
