2009--2010 HSL Flu Vaccine Campaign

To promote influenza vaccination this year, Hebrew SeniorLife is sharing its campaign designed to strongly and succinctly express the importance of getting vaccinated - the "Get V'ed" campaign. 

The letter and symbol of a "V" commonly evokes a number of associations. In this case, not only does the "V" represent the "V" in vaccination, and therefore the importance of getting vaccinated, but also as a symbol of peace, the peace of mind that you will feel, knowing that you will not get ill with the flu. In addition the "V" stands for the "V" in victory that you will have over the flu as well as other secondary illnesses like pneumonia.

As part of this campaign, Hebrew SeniorLife has created four public service announcements (PSA), each dispelling a different "myth" about getting vaccinated.  These PSAs were filmed with HSL staff as the stars.
