Serving the community for over a century, today Hebrew SeniorLife is improving the quality of life for over 5,000 individuals annually.  Our ability to serve those in greatest need is made possible by the generosity of individuals like you.   Your support helps Hebrew SeniorLife bridge the gap between public subsidies and the actual cost of care.   Hebrew SeniorLife is the Commonwealth's largest Medicaid provider for seniors in long-term care.  We also reach low-income seniors through a variety of programs based at Hebrew SeniorLife housing communities, and through our outpatient Health and Wellness Programs .

Annual Fund gifts will be recognized in our annual donor report at the following levels

• $25,000+
• $10,000 - $24,999
• $2,500 - $9,999
• $1,000 - $2,499
• $500 - $999
• $250 - $499
• $100 - $249

Among the ways your gift will be used this year are:

• Reduce the threat of a devastating deficit caused by the gap between Medicaid, on which 88% of our long-term care residents rely, and the actual cost of their care.
• Provide nutritious meals for low-income seniors at our housing communities and our outpatient Health and Wellness Programs.
• Discover new approaches, through our Institute for Aging Research, that address debilitating geriatric syndromes such as crippling hip fractures and disabling dementia and delirium.
• Alleviate the rising national shortage of geriatricians by training Harvard Medical School students and others to care for the growing number of seniors.
