Orchard Cove is all about providing our members with choices. Whether it is the type of apartment that you choose, the activities you select, or the care plan that best suits your needs, you have options.

Entrance Fees
To become a member of the Orchard Cove community, members pay an Entrance Fee that is 90% refundable, ensuring the security of your investment. For some members, we are able to reduce the Entrance Fee through our 75% and 50% refundable option.  Entrance Fees are based on the type and location of an apartment.

Care Plans
Orchard Cove has two options: LifeCare and Fee-for-Service. Selecting the right plan depends on your own needs and preferences. Whichever you select, you won't have to worry about the costs and responsibilities of home ownership. And, with both plans, you and your family will have the assurance that your needs will be met, no matter what the future holds.

LifeCare Plan
This option is for people with no or minimal long-term care insurance and who want to limit their exposure to health-care expenses in the future. If a higher level of care is recommended, such as assistance-in-living or skilled nursing, you will be covered by Orchard Cove's LifeCare plan. There is an additional charge per month for these more intensive medical services.

Fee-for-Service Plan
Once you are at Orchard Cove, if it is necessary for you to consider moving to our assistance-in-living or skilled nursing residences, you pay for that care through your long-term care insurance or your private funds. Individuals selecting this plan receive a discount on the Entrance Fee and monthly service fees.
